HOW WILL IT ALL END ?
If you have had the stamina to read through everything on this website, you will have seen the evidence. You will have seen the facts. You will have read what the Moslem Arab leaders are saying to their own people in Arabic and not merely what they are saying to our media and to our leaders in English. You will have read quotes from the Koran. You will have read quotes from Moslem tradition. You will have read the sermons from the mosques in the Palestinian areas- the sermons which call for the killing of Jews “No matter where you are”. You will have seen documents dealing with the hatred for the Jews which is taught in the Palestinian classrooms. You will have read many other quotes on many other related subjects.
Let us now read how it is all going to end, from the mouth of the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.
Zechariah 12:1. This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares:
2 "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling.
(CEV) I have decided that Jerusalem will become a bowl of wine that makes the neighboring nations drunk.
(GNB) "I will make Jerusalem like a cup of wine; the nations around her will drink and stagger like drunks.
(GW) "I'm going to make Jerusalem like a cup of wine that makes all the surrounding people stagger.
(BBE) See, I will make Jerusalem a cup of shaking fear
(Darby) Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of bewilderment
(ESV) "Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering
(Geneva) Beholde, I will make Ierusalem a cuppe of poyson
(KJV) Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling
Could this possibly be applied to the obsession that many people have about Jerusalem? Those of us, who have lived in Jerusalem, refer to this as the “Jerusalem syndrome”. It is a recognised mental illness. It is a madness that afflicts individuals; it afflicts many world leaders and, indeed, it can- and does- afflict whole nations.
...Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem...
“Judah will be besieged…” This shows that the Jewish people, who are predominantly (but not exclusively) the descendants of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi, making up the southern House of Judah, will be back in the land- by fair means or foul. Like it or lump it, the Jews will be in the land at the end. (The other ten tribes of Israel will not be in the Land at this time in any numbers- but that is another story.)
3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her (Judah- the Jewish people in Israel) I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure (rupture) themselves.
4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness," declares the LORD. "I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations.
Not only will the Jewish people be back in the land (by fair means or foul) but the LORD will be fighting on their side.
5 Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, “The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.”
The leaders (Alufei- leaders of a thousand- generals) of Judah will no longer be saying, “The people of Jerusalem are strong because TSAHAL- the Israeli Defence Forces- are the best in the world. They will be saying that the Lord Almighty (YHVH Tseva'ot- the Ever Living Lord of Hosts/ Armies) is their God and that He is fighting for them. Not only that, but they will be saying this “in their hearts”. In other words, whether they actually say it publicly or not, that is what- at rock bottom- they will sincerely believe.
6 "On that day I will make the leaders of Judah (the Israeli generals) like a brazier in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume right and left all the surrounding peoples, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.
Trusting in the Lord God of Hosts, the Israelis will win some stunning victories…
7 "The LORD will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honour of the house of David and of Jerusalem's inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.
8 On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them.
9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem….
Do yourself a favour and think about verse 9 very carefully. Here it is again...
9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem….
The Hebrew word used for to destroy is le-hashmid. This means to destroy, to exterminate, to devastate, to annihilate, to bring to nought, to overthrow, to (cause to) perish, to pluck down....Think about it. This could be referring to your nation, to you personally and to those you love.
The passages continues:
10. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves: the clan of the house of David and their wives, the clan of the house of Nathan and their wives, the clan of the house of Levi and their wives, the clan of Shimei and their wives, and all the rest of the clans and their wives.
When the Jewish people in the land return to their God, it will not be a mass exercise, prompted by mass hysteria, like a revival meeting. It will be one by one, on their own, in private and with their wives and families. Each one, on his own, will make his own peace with God. This is going to happen in the land of Israel and in Jerusalem and, in order for this to happen, the Jewish people will have to actually be in the land…
Now, having read through everything on this site, please answer this question: Do you honestly still believe, with your hand on your heart, that there has ever been a peace process? Do you still believe that the issue is land, settlements, or Palestinian rights? OR do you now understand that the real issue is the very survival of the Jewish State of Israel?
Next question: Who created the universe? Who created this planet and everything on it? (If you’re in any doubt on these points, try this website: www.creationontheweb.com )
Next question: Who owns all the land on this planet- including this land- and who gave this land to the people of Israel in the first place?
Gen 12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.
Gen 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
Gen 26:3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
Gen 28:13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
Eze 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
There are many other scriptures on this point.
Next question: On whose side is the Lord, “who stretches out the Heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth and who forms the Spirit of man within him.”? On which side is he fighting?
Next question: Given the above, which side do you think is likely to win?
And now- one final question: Which side do you propose to be on?
Let us end with this:
Joshua 5:13. One day, Joshua was near Jericho when he saw a man standing some distance in front of him. The man was holding a sword, so Joshua walked up to him and asked, "Are you on our side or on our enemies' side?"
"Neither," he answered. "I am here because I am the commander of the LORD's army."
In other words, the man told Joshua, “Hey! Hold it right there! You’re asking me the wrong question. I- not you- am in command of the Lord’s army. Are you on my side?”
Joshua fell to his knees and bowed down to the ground. "I am your servant," he said. "Tell me what to do."
Like Joshua, the Jewish people in Jerusalem will one day fall on their knees before the commander of the Lord's Army. They will decide to be on his side and will ask him what he wants done.
Zechariah 12-10. And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
